| Name: | Sialeeds Falenas |
|---|
Star Position: None.
Game(s): Suikoden V
Age and Birthday: 26, as of IS 450 when she died.
Appearance: Tall, slim and quite well endowed. Sialeeds’ hair is originally silver, but has been dyed blond (for clarification purposes, she’ll be blonde in the RP). She prefers to dress in shades of purple and gold, opting only for more earthy greens and browns when forced to go incognito.
Personality: Fun loving and actually rather easygoing, Sialeeds comes across as a carefree woman who cares bucketloads about her family and her beauty sleep. She is straightforward and stubborn about her opinions; she doesn’t give a flip about how other people perceive her as long as she believes that she is doing the correct thing. When pushed into a corner, Sialeeds tends to prefer brains over brawn- she concocts shrewd strategies instead of going head-to-head with the enemy blindly.
Weapons: Sun Chakrams- twin gold chakrams with two protruding blades on each chakram.
Skills/Special Abilities: Can concoct strategies, although nothing too elaborate.
Other Abilities: She deals a mean uppercut to those who disturb her sleep. Also, she designs her own clothes (and in the words of Josephine: "A fashion diva")
Runes: A wind rune on her left hand.
Weaknesses: All members of the Falenan royal family- Sialeeds will kill if anything happens to any of them. Also, she has a tendency to need more sleep than most people, which she blames on her age. Oh, and lizards. Sialeeds is TERRIFIED of lizards.
History:
Sialeeds’ childhood was mostly marred by the civil war between her mother and her aunt for the throne. One of the three princesses of Falena (the other two being Arshtat and Haswar), she had no choice but to watch as casualties piled up on both sides. The war was “won” when Arshtat and Sialeeds’ mother ascended the throne. Sialeeds was promptly engaged to Gizel Godwin- a purely political arrangement, but she was happy with it.
However, once the Queen died, the three princesses took on a pact- Arshtat would ascend as Queen, while Haswar and Sialeeds would never marry and have children. To keep her end of the pact, Sialeeds had to break off her engagement with Gizel. This seemingly soured the relations between Gizel and her; when the both of them meet again in Stormfist before the Sacred Games for Lymsleia, they were very cold towards each other.
This arrangement lasted as long as Arshtat was on the throne- Sialeeds was to travel observe the country in place of the Queen, and the Prince would follow along when he was older. During these trips to the many regions of Falena, Sialeeds would often act as tour guide, providing tidbits of information to the mostly green party. However, once Arshtat was assassinated in the Godwin coup, Sialeeds fled the Sun Palace with Lyon and the Prince to Barrows territory. She was well aware of the fact that Salum Barrows would take this chance to establish them as figureheads, but was at a loss to do anything until the Barrows’ act of stealing the Dawn Rune from an earlier uprising came to light.
She left Rainwall with the Prince and his allies and assisted the Prince loyally in his endeavours as he led the rebel army against the Godwins. Sialeeds remained relatively low-key until the taking of Doraat, in which she was seen to speak with a Godwin assassin, Dolph. This marked the beginning of her so-called “defection” to the Godwin side- she later kidnapped Queen Lymsleia on the battlefield when the queen attempted to escape to the Prince’s side and returned to Sol-Falena to hand Lymsleia over to the Godwins. However, when asked about her motivation of returning to the Godwins’ side, she commented that she hadn’t switched sides at all.
From that point on, Sialeeds’ actions were largely erratic; she took on the Twilight Rune and used it on both the Godwin soldiers and the Prince in the taking of Stormfist and went as far as to face down the Prince at the dam near Sol-Falena but uses her rune in the end to seal off the Sun Rune. However, the battle with the Prince overtaxed her and the Twilight Rune was transferred to Lyon.
Sialeeds was left to die at the dam near Sol-Falena after she conferred to Lucretia that she went over to the Godwin side to rid the country of the corrupt nobility from the enemy’s side. On the record, her body simply “faded away”, but in reality, it would seem that she was sent to the future and to Budehuc Castle.
